Know Thyself, 2024

Know Thyself embarks on a journey of discovering confidence within myself and revisiting the turning points of my life. Growing up, I had conflicting perspectives of what I believed confidence was, and expressed it through various outlets, whether right or wrong. I constantly strove for perfection and placed unrealistic expectations on myself, as this was what I viewed as success. The saying “Know Thyself” draws from the wisdom of the philosopher Socrates meaning one who doesn’t know their fullest potential and believe in oneself. Today, I’ve learned to accept my flaws, and build upon who I am becoming.
